Auckland Wedding Photographer / Gabby and Fiti

It was early in December when Gabby and Fiti tied the knot. To say we had fun is an understatement!

I met Gabby in Manukau Hope a few years ago now, and when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I couldn't be more thrilled. I knew it was going to be a day full of smiles, laughter, encouragements, and oodles of love.

It delights me to finally be able to start sharing these wonderful stories with you.

It was awesome to see the girls get ready in the place where Gabby grew up, around her seven (yes, seven) siblings and her nephews and nieces! It was a wonderfully busy morning.

I was in love with the colours of their bouquets. Gorgeous.

Heading on over to the boys... What nonsense did they get up to pre-wedding? :)

They were wed in a church close to home: St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Howick, around friends and family, with dear (and crazy and amazing) Pastor Luka as their celebrant.

Party time! With all the formalities out of the way, we headed down to a nearby reserve to have some food and get some photos done!

I was not prepared for the craziness that ensued. Seriously.

See? I told you. They're a fun and good-lookin' bunch. :)

I will never forget what happened in this next photo. I told the ladies to put their bouquets down, from holding them near their chest, to their side, when Evangeline (Gabby's sister) THREW them to the floor. Like, literally DROP them! We were laughing for a solid five minutes before we could gather ourselves again. Love these moments and these ladies!

These guys.

Sigh, love always takes my breath away. It makes me so happy to see these images--I was able to capture their love and moments of being newlywed. I hope they remember how much they love each other whenever they see these photos.

Their reception was another level of fun. From performers, to speeches, to prayers, and dance numbers--they didn't hold back!
